Onsite Estimate Privacy Policy

Onsite Estimate (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) is a business utility for creating and managing estimates, invoices, payments, client details, catalog items, and related onsite records. This Privacy Policy explains how Onsite Estimate handles information when you use the App.

1. Information You Provide

The App may store business profile details, client names and contact details, catalog items, prices and costs, estimates, invoices, payments, notes, signatures, logos, and onsite photos that you choose to enter.

This information is used to provide the App’s business management, estimating, invoicing, recordkeeping, and document generation features.

2. Local Processing and Storage

Business data is processed and stored locally in the App sandbox on your device. The developer does not operate a server that receives this business data.

Your data remains on your device until you delete it, replace it with a backup, or remove the App, subject to iOS behavior.

3. Photos, Camera, and Notifications

Camera or photo library access is used only when you choose to capture or attach an image.

Notification permission is used only for holiday client-care reminders. You can change camera, photo, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.

4. System Services and Sharing

StoreKit processes purchases and supplies entitlement status to the App.

When you choose to share a PDF or backup, send an email or text message, or place a call, the App hands the selected content or action to the relevant Apple system service or app. The privacy terms of those services or apps then apply.

5. Tracking and Advertising

Onsite Estimate does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated analytics. The developer does not sell your business data.

6. Backups and Exports

Exported PDF, CSV, and backup files may contain personal or commercially sensitive information.

You control where those files are saved or sent and are responsible for protecting them after export.

7. Deletion and Retention

You can delete individual records and attachments in the App and can erase supported business records through data management.

Export a backup before deleting the App if you want to retain your data. App Store purchase records are retained by Apple under Apple’s policies.

8. Security

The App relies on the iOS sandbox and device security controls. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Use a device passcode and take appropriate steps to protect exported files.

9. Children

Onsite Estimate is a business utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their region.

10. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when App features or legal requirements change. The updated date shown above identifies the current version.
